UAV/DRONE
Chab Aircraft works hand in hand with Intelligent Monitoring Systems Drones SL. -IMS Drones SL, located in the scientific park of Valencia, Spain, a field of international excellence with high prestige at the European level, a company formed by a consortium of companies that cover 100% of the development of the DRONE. We design and develop R + d + i, manufacture and carry out maintenance, and in parallel the training that our applications imply and the development of Cutting-edge Technologies Electronic Engineering. Our DRONE was born from a request for the development of a model for the army that covers extensive security and surveillance operations at an optimal cost to deploy a large number of units.
Location
Thanks to the environment in which we find ourselves, we have, on the one hand, a wide variety of services that the Technology Park itself offers us, which adds great value to our company given the innovative facilities we use. The Science Park is home to more than 60 companies in the technology sector and a multitude of institutes and research groups, in an environment in which the academic field is mixed with research and business, we collaborate with different research groups. We have a clean room class 100 (ISO5) where aerospace parts and components are assembled with certification from the European Space Agency and NASA. An example of these works is the Atmospheric-Space Interaction Monitor (ASIM) which is an international space mission for the external facilities of the International Space Station in the Columbus module launched in July of last year. The power supply for the PHI experiment on board the Solar Orbiter satellite, launched in January this year, has also been developed.

In our research activity we have two 100m2 laboratories fully equipped for the design and development of electronic demonstrators. Custom electronic design for on-board systems and applications using Reconfigurable Logic (CPLDs, FPGAs, PSoC). Microcontrollers (AVR, ARM, 8051, etc.). RTOS. (b) Sensor Networks (WSN). Wireless communication technologies (Wifi, Zigbee, CyFi, Bluetooth, Sigfox LoRA, etc.). Example: We design electronic circuits for the most avant-garde onboard technology (drones and similar) We develop embedded electronic systems, with special emphasis on aspects such as low consumption, energy harvesting and miniaturization. We design power converters using semiconductor devices from new families, such as SiC and GaN. (Much higher than silicon) Example we optimize the consumption of the onboard batteries (in drones and the like). We manufacture with different materials, titanium, chromium cobalt, tungsten, stainless steels, aluminum, carbon fiber, etc., using the latest technologies in the sector, and with capabilities in CAD designs and in performing structural tests. In the process of obtaining ISO certification in October 2020.
